Benitoite Crystal
A beautiful cornflower-blue Benitoite crystal thumbnail specimen.
These specimens are from a recently released batch of material which was mined 20-25 years ago.
This is a single well terminated Benitoite crystal. It is very gemmy and has great color. There is a contacted area on the back of the crystal and a small chip on one edge. Otherwise no damage to the crystal faces or edges.
Size of largest Benitoite crystal - 11 x 9 x 6 mm.
A classic from a now-depleted locality!
