Benitoite Crystal
A beautiful cornflower-blue Benitoite crystal thumbnail specimen.
These specimens are from a recently released batch of material which was mined 20-25 years ago.
This is a single well terminated Benitoite crystal. It is very gemmy and has great color. There are several contacted areas on the crystal. Otherwise no damage to the crystal faces or edges.
Size of largest Benitoite crystal - 15 x 13 x 9 mm.
A classic from a now-depleted locality!
