Smoky Quartz Crystal - ex Charlie Key Collection
An amazing crystal of phantom growth, translucent Smoky Quartz. This crystal glows beautifully when back lit, as shown in the photos.
This specimen is from the Erongo Mountains in Namibia.
One edge of the termination has several very small chips, which do not detract, as can be seen in the seventh photo. There is also a chipped area between two of the prism faces, on the back, as can be seen in the third and seventh photo. This area does not show when the crystal is viewed from the front. Otherwise, no damage to the faces or edges on the crystal.
Size of largest Quartz crystal - 67 x 40 x 35 mm.
